This intensive programme allows students from outside the UK to complete GCSE courses in one year.  They may then proceed to study A levels at Wellington School.

Normally, GCSE courses take 2 years but by using intensive teaching and modern facilities and working with students in very small groups, Wellington School is able to prepare students for these examinations in just one year. Students study Maths, English (as a first or second language depending upon ability), combined Business Studies & Economics, Physics and Chemistry.

The course builds in an intensive English Language component  and they can also do an IGCSE in their own language.

A maximum of 16 pupils are admitted to the One Year GCSE each year and are completely integrated into the life of Wellington School providing a perfect preparation for Sixth Form study and a much broader educational experience than that offered by an International School in the UK.
