Early Years

"In the EYFS, the detailed programmes build on the children’s interests and a wealth of enriching experiences that enable children of all abilities to progress well. Skilled adults have high expectations and encourage a judicious balance between activities led by children and those initiated by staff so providing both a springboard and a support for learning which intrigue and inspire the children." (ISI Report, 2014)

These first years provide the essential foundation to children’s future success and well-being.

Our excellent teaching team ensures that all children are happy and stimulated in our specially designed facilities.  Creativity and imaginative play are essential to every child’s growth.  Each child’s development is closely monitored and carefully extended in small groups.
Chapel Nursery takes children from the term after their 2nd birthday.  A beautiful self-contained building with dedicated outdoor space provides a wonderful start to school life.  Price's Nursery children are fully integrated into school life and in Reception our practical approach to learning continues.  All our Early Years children receive specialist teaching in ICT and Music, and Reception children love their weekly Forest School sessions.

The nursery is open 8am to 6pm all year round.

(It will be closed December 26,27,28,29 / 2017 and Jan 1, March 30, April 2 and 10, May 28 and August 27/ 2018)
