School Council

As children enjoy the opportunities that surround them, the School Council helps children to learn about taking responsibility for themselves, for others, for our school and its environment.

Our School Council, which is composed of representatives from all classes, meets regularly to discuss different aspects of school life. It is run by the Head Boy and Head Girl, under the guidance of Mrs Spicer.  The Council has helped to organise fund raising and has made many contributions to school life, including changing how the playground is used and helping organise the construction of the amphitheatre.

Wellington Prep School offers a privileged education.  Through our School Council, children learn about making wider contributions to the life of the school and to the local, national and international communities, through our close partnership with the Sella Community project in Sierra Leone.
