Latest ISI Report
We aim high and our most recent report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (January 2015) confirms that we do well in achieving our aims.
The school was inspected over four days by a team of four inspectors who spent a great deal of time observing lessons and discussing the many different aspects of our school with children, staff and parents. It was a very thorough process. Although our Reception and Nursery classes (the Early Years Foundation Stage, or EYFS) were inspected separately, the views of the inspectors are embedded in the report for the whole of the Prep School.
A fundamental part of the inspection process focuses on how well a school meets its stated aims. Our aims are ambitious, reflecting the values that we believe should run through our children’s education at WPS.
It is absolutely right that any inspection process should also investigate areas for improvement. It was pleasing and affirming that the priorities for improvement that were highlighted by the inspection team are areas that we had already identified through our school development planning process, and areas where we have already made significant progress.
