A few years ago the Governors of Wellington School realised that in order to continue to provide the levels of education and pastoral care the School has become known for, funding over and above the School’s fees needed to be found.  With this in mind they established the Wellington School Foundation to support the School and its mission to provide excellent education to pupils regardless of their background.

The main aims of the Foundation are:-

To further the education and advancement in life of pupils at Wellington School through the provision on Bursaries and Scholarships and by supporting the Schools Capital Development programme.

To manage the communication between the Wellington School Association and the Friends of Wellington School as well as the local community.

To preserve for the benefit of the public the school Chapel and other parts of the school site that are worthy of preservation in view of their historical, architectural or environmental significance.

To receive and administer funds appropriately.
