Nursery Celebrate Spring
Spring sunshine came to the Nursery garden this week and with it, two very well-behaved lambs, thanks to Mr Vellacott, Stephanie’s daddy!
The children learnt that the lambs are born in the sheep shed where they are fed by their mothers and later, they move outside to eat grass. Mr Vellacott told us that because the weather is still so cold, the grass is not really growing quickly enough to feed all the lambs and their mothers!

Nursery children have loved being outside this week, enjoying the Spring sunshine! Bulbs are coming up in the Nurs
ery garden and we have enjoyed the story of Jack and the Beanstalk – so much so that we planted our own runner bean seeds and are hoping for some strong beanstalks to appear!
The children have also been celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi which is a colourful Spring festival. Activities have included dressing up in saris, playing Indian bells, paint throwing to make beautiful pictures and even shopping for and sampling delicious Indian food .
