School Host Riding Competition

On Sunday March 7, Wellington School held its annual competition at Heazle. The sun shone and a good time was had by all. In the end there was a good turn out with twelve schools represented. For the first time, children from both the Junior and Senior Schools, were competing. All the children must be congratulated on their performance although sadly the teams did not manage to get placed, better luck next time!  Well done to Anabel Jay who achieved 4^th place in the individual competition. and to Mo Maunder (Junior School) who came 6th in the scurry. A big thank you to Beverly Hughes for organising the teams and to Mrs Williams, Alice Spicer Edwards and Amy Hughes for giving up their day to help - we could not have managed without you! Lastly to Rachel Eaton Jones who kindly presented the trophies.
