Down at the station!

Nursery visited the West Somerset Railway at Bishops Lydeard this week where we were made very welcome by the friendly Station Master! The sun shone as we watched the 10.25 train to Minehead depart in a huge cloud of hissing steam. We explored the station before the 11.30 train arrived – lots more steam! – and enjoyed waving the passengers off before we had our picnic lunch! The train-shaped climbing frame proved to be lots of fun for all. Thank you to the West Somerset Railway for a lovely day.
