Nursery search for signs of Spring

Nursery children set off to explore the Senior School grounds in their wellie boots this week, hoping to see some signs of Spring! It did not take long before a range of pretty Spring flowers had been spotted, including purple and yellow crocuses, and delicate white snowdrops.

Lots of the trees still looked very wintry with spiky branches but when we looked closely, we saw many tiny, tightly closed buds - fresh new leaves just waiting to open. We returned to Nursery, knowing that Spring is definitely on its way!
