Summer Fair blessed with blue skies

After all the rain of the last few weeks the Junior School Summer fair was blessed with blue skies and sunshine. It was a great afternoon with plenty of enticing stalls; strawberries and cream, delicious cakes, plants, games and toys. There was also the pleasure of the stocks for the headmaster and some of the braver fathers!  The games stalls were organised by the Year 6 pupils, and we even had an Olympic Torch, which children could hold while having their photograph taken.  Many thanks to the hard working team of the Friends of Wellington Junior School, who put so much effort into making the Fair such a successful event.
