This event has captured the imagination of everyone involved and it has been really good to see so many people taking part. To not just meet our target of 60 miles but to almost double it (the final total was 118 miles) is a truly impressive achievement of stamina, organisation and your support. Events like this depend on many willing helpers but I would like to thank two people in particular; firstly, Trevor Nelson for giving up his time to drive our Early Years and Infants children to and from the pool, and, secondly, Nigel Renyard for the inspiration and organisation behind this great occasion. Funds raised today for our school charities stand at over £3000!
