Olivia Savage from Wellington School started fencing only this year (Year 5) after choosing fencing as an after school activity.  She has really enjoyed her fencing after school club with renowned Hungarian International Fencing Master Mr Felletar following her brother Henry (Year 9).  In only her second ever competition, Olivia won the Under 11 Girls Foil in the Devon County Fencing Union annual championship.  On her way to victory, she also beat all of the under 11 boys bar 1!  She is pictured here having won the Wellington School Girls foil championship (under 11).

Olivia really enjoys the physical and mental challenges that fencing provides and hopes to follow in the footsteps of the other Wellington Junior School alumni (Jade Clarke and Jessica Gundry), who have represented the country at National level under Mr Felletar's tuition.  More training and dedication to follow!
