Senior School Friends AGM and Supper Evening

9 March 2012

AGM - Midas Room, Princess Royal Sports Centre, 6pm

We are holding our Annual General Meeting on Friday 9th March 2012 in the Midas Room (Princess Royal Sports Complex) at 6pm.

We are always looking for new members for the committee and would be delighted if you would like to get involved.

It is not too onerous – we meet approximately twice a term  - and organise fundraising events at the school. Many of you have come along and supported these events in the past and perhaps you might like to get involved in running them!

Don’t worry that you might be forced into chairing meetings or sorting paperwork – these positions are currently held by parents who are happy to continue (for now!) – that is not what we are looking for. But we are looking for willing volunteers to do things such as run bars at events, sell tickets etc – we have got some great events already but are always looking for fresh ideas.

We are quite a friendly bunch! Committee meetings are usually quite good fun!!! Don’t be intimidated – come along – help us help your children to gain access to even more equipment etc that we provide on top of all the wonderful things they get at school.

We fund lots of extras at the request of staff – and have done all sorts in the past – from little things like football goals – to fundraising for enormous projects like the science block.

The more we raise the more your children benefit – so please come along – get involved – you never know – you might just enjoy it!

Supper - Dining Hall, 7pm

This is a social event, not a fundraiser and is an opportunity for all of us to get together over a tasty meal and a glass of wine.
