Brian Murray, Coordinator for the Shelterbox Charity for Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset visited Wellington School this week with David Fasey, President of Wellington Rotary Club, to present a pennant to pupils at the school, in recognition of the fact that Wellington School is one of the top 50 schools in the UK who have donated to the charity. The sums raised were in excess of £6,500   (The Lower School actually raised £1000 overnight on Day 1).The pupils at the school from Year 7 to 9 have had cake sales and other fund raising ventures to raise money for the Shelterbox disasters.
