Three Wellingtonians make the headlines - David Suchet, Willows 1965, is the voice of Aslan in the new production of ‘Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’. Carly Bawden, who is playing the role of Susan, is also an Old Wellingtonian and left in 2006. She is seen here in the centre of the picture in rehearsal.

 Alys Metcalf from Stogumber and former pupil of Wellington School, is taking her acting career to new heights with the foundation of her very own theatre company: Viscera Theatre Co.

 The young actress proved herself a star from an early age when she played the lead in Jane Eyre and the part of Fantine in Les Miserables at Wellington School, Somerset. She performed the role of Gretel in the Humperdink opera Hansel and Gretel for the Two Moors Festival, aged 15. Her family home is now in Stogumber, West Somerset.

Alys and fellow graduate of the Guildford School of Acting, Roxy Dunn, now invite you to the exciting launch of their promising young theatre company with a showcase of five short pieces of outstanding New Writing inspired by London in the lit up labyrinth of The Old Vic Tunnels.
