Hannam Music Prize Competition

hannam-10Pictured are some of the 29 competitors for this year's Hannam Music Prizes. Each of the 3 classes was as hotly contested as ever, causing some serious head scratching and soul-searching for the adjudicators, Nigel Davies and Ali Smith, both of whom declared themselves amazed by the consistent excellence of the performances. The deserving winners were: 
Charlie Pemberton (Voice) - Foundation
Alex Moyse (Tenor Saxophone) - Intermediate
Bethany Kilbey (Oboe/Cor Anglais) and Edwin Chan (Viola) - Advanced
It was a great pleasure to have the competition's benefactor, Julian Hannam and his wife amongst the event's enraptured audience.
