Former pupil and school hockey captain Tom Carson made his debut for the England U21men's hockey team last week in two games against the German U21 side. The squad travelled to Krefeld in Germany where the opposition are the current world champions.  A 3-3 draw in the first match was an encouraging start but England were defeated by a strong, organised German side and lost 4-2 in the second.  Tom hopes that he did enough to gain selection for the Junior Challenge Open in Poland at the end of May.
