Careers

 

Dedicated careers lessons within the PSHE program in Year 10 introduce students to the main career paths within a range of professions and explain the academic, skills and training requirements.  The Morrisby tests are available although all students will complete an internally devised questionnaire designed to make them aware of their interests and aptitudes and suggest possible careers.  Students are encouraged to spend some time in the dedicated Careers Room and all students attend the annual regional Independent Schools Careers Fair.  The Head of Careers is available for consultation at any time.  A further sequence of lessons within the Lower Sixth Form enrichment course enables students to refine their career choice and prepares them for university application.
