Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) and Citizenship
PSHE encompasses all aspects of the school curriculum to promote a student’s personal and social development including health and well-being. Citizenship gives our students the knowledge, skills and understanding to play an effective role in school and in society. It helps them to become informed, thoughtful and responsible citizens who are aware of their rights, duties and responsibilities.

Members of the local community contribute to the programme making it varied, stimulating and relevant to the lives of our students. The school places particular emphasis on the value of each individual as a member of a family and of the wider community. In particular, the teaching materials for sexuality and relationships and for drug education are fully in accordance with the ethos of the school.
