University Entrance

Students from Wellington School traditionally go on to study at the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, Southampton, Birmingham, Warwick, Imperial College London, King’s College London, University College London, LSE, Nottingham, Bristol, Birmingham, Exeter, Leeds, York and Loughborough.

The subjects include a wide variety from Medicine and Chemistry to Economics, Modern Languages, Maths and Engineering.

Wellington School has a well-deserved reputation for successfully helping students through the university application process with more than 95% of students going on to university and the overwhelming majority accepting offers of places on their first choice of course. Individual advice and support ensures that each student applies for courses that will fulfil their career aspirations. Additional preparation for those applying to prestigious universities such as Oxford or Cambridge or for those planning to read competitive subjects such as Medicine is available and our students have a fine record in achieving places on these courses. Parents are fully involved in the application process.
