Thank you for taking the time to look at the Wellington Bus Services for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Our safe, efficient and reliable school transport covers 14 routes throughout Somerset and Devon, with the catchment area for day students extending up to 20-30 miles around Wellington. The school transport runs Monday – Friday, departing from school at 5.00pm to enable all students to take full advantage of the busy after-school programme.
Many parents who live on the outskirts of Exeter and to the North and East of Taunton testify that it is faster to get to Wellington using the M5 than it is to the centre of these busy towns.
Our drivers are fully checked in line with the Wellington School Safeguarding Policy and all our vehicles are maintained to the highest standard and regular checked.
Wellington is partnered with Vectare, a specialist school transport management company, so bookings for the school bus routes are made via our online booking system which can be viewed at wellingtonschool.vectare.co.uk.
The website incorporates an interactive journey planner which allows you to enter your postcode and find your closest current bus whilst the School Bus Guide on the Vectare site provides an overview of the school bus service network and contains further details including timetable information and terms and conditions. All bookings for all routes can then be made via the dedicated transport website once you have joined Wellington School.
Our zone charges* for a day return as from September 2025 are:
