Wellington School has a long tradition supporting military families, who can enjoy stability for their children's education through the Continuity of Education Allowance.  

Wellington School is perfectly located in the South West of England with excellent road transport links, close to Junction 26 of the M5, a train station only 10 minutes drive away, Bristol and Exeter airports within 40 minutes and Heathrow two hours drive. These accessible links making Wellington the perfect choice for families based both in the UK and overseas.

Wellington is accredited to accept the CEA allowance and has a long and successful history of working with Forces’ families. We are very proud of our boarding community and currently have a number of Service children attending the School who benefit from the stable, healthy, challenging, fun and friendly environment provided by our Houses.

Forces’ families have enough to contend with today without worrying about the continuity of their child’s education. With a full weekend programme, Saturday activities and planned excursions, there is plenty of opportunity to keep children occupied and busy.  It is also reassuring to know that during those times when parents might be on the front-line, Wellington has former Forces’ staff on board who know exactly what an anxious time it can be for the whole family. Wellington provides reassurance, care and support for the whole family and these values are embedded as part of everyday life at the School. We also run a full CCF programme and a Corps of Drums, so there can be some family continuation if desired.
