Occasional And Flexi-Boarding

In addition to full-time boarding, we are also able to offer weekly, flexi and occasional boarding options. The option for a student to spend a night or more in one of our boarding houses is perfect for families who need flexibility. For clarity, we describe one-off stays in boarding as “occasional boarding” and regular, repeated stays as “flexi-boarding”.

Occasional or Flexi-Boarding options are commonly used when a child has late evening events or early starts at school, would like to spend time with friends in boarding, or have a longer journey to school. Weeknight stays include a cooked evening meal, access to engaging activities, support with homework and the security of a supervised and familiar environment. Alternatively, our weekend packages offer a fantastic opportunity to experience boarding and have a blend of fun and relaxation.

Weekly Boarding 

Weekly boarders can come on the school bus on Monday morning, and return home on Friday evening. If it is more convenient, they can get back to school on Sunday evening. Our bus routes extend throughout the region. Booking weekly boarding ensures that your child has their own allocated bed and study area, laundry and all meals during the week are included in the fee. Flexi-Boarding 

Flexi-boarding must be booked for a half term at a time. Booking flexi-boarding ensures that your child has the same bed each time they stay.

• Flexi-boarding one/two nights per week (one/two nights of your choosing, Mon-Thurs): £61 for one night or £122 for two nights per week. 

• Flexi-boarding mid-week package (three or four nights of your choosing, Mon-Thurs): £178 for three nights, or £230 for four nights per week.

Occasional Boarding 

Occasional boarding is available on an ad-hoc basis, subject to availability. 

• Occasional night(s) of boarding: (£63 per night Mon-Thurs or £75 per night Fri-Sun)

• Occasional weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday night): £220 + cost of any optional trips.
 

All occasional and flexi-boarding is booked using the online form here or at the top of the page and all costs are added to the school bill. When booking a stay, any costs for unused school transport would be credited to your account.
