Sixth Form and A Levels

Sixth Form and A Levels

Applying to university can be a daunting prospect. From choosing the best course to completing a personal statement, Wellington students receive specific guidance, advice and support.

From our Sixth Form, students go on to study at prestigious institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, LSE and the Russell Group, as well as universities in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Our Sixth Form pupils have access to superb modern facilities and outstanding teaching. International Sixth Formers flourish at Wellington. They have a choice of 21 different A Level subjects, including Business, Economics, Art and Music.

At Wellington, Sixth Form students are encouraged to build up a strong portfolio of co-curricular experiences such as the Combined Cadet Force, Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and leadership opportunities. In addition, they will have the option of studying for the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) which is highly regarded by top UK universities.

English Language Provision

There is a Sixth Form programme of study to prepare students for the IELTS examination enabling them to meet the English Language Entry requirements of UK and overseas universities. These lessons are normally taught 1-1, although group lessons may be more appropriate at our discretion.
