Last Saturday, around twenty of our Boarders had a fantastic morning playing football against our friends from Sidcot School. A competitive round-robin event, in which we saw not only great football, but an even better team spirit.
We finished with a mixed 13-a-side match combining sides, and just in time before rain began to fall! Best Goal goes to Quentin, while Hollis was named MVP.
Football is a universal language that connects people and brings them together from all around the world. At Wellington, it represents a core part of our amazing Boarding community alongside other sports such as badminton, basketball or tennis.
Our Head of Football, Mr Farr, and Mr Smith from Sidcot, both said that it was one of the best atmospheres they have seen this season. It was brilliant to see everyone enjoying, working together, and building new friendships.
