A Spectacular Evening of Music at the Summer Proms

Last night, our Summer Proms Concert brought together pupils, families, staff and friends of Wellington School for a wonderful evening of live music in the marquee. It was fantastic to see so many guests enjoying a picnic on school field before the concert, accompanied by a brilliant performance from the Funk Pack.

In the marquee, the concert showcased the remarkable breadth of musical talent across the school, with performances from our Prep Choir, Prep Chorus, Chamber Choir, Big Band, Orchestra, Cantabile & Strings, Community Choir and Concert Band.

From jazz favourites to breath taking solo performances met with standing ovations, every ensemble demonstrated the dedication, confidence and musicianship that make music such a special part of life at Wellington.

A big thank you goes to Mr Gareth Dayus-Jones, Mr Ben Wilkinson and Ms Copus for their leadership and commitment in preparing our musicians for such an exceptional evening. We are also incredibly grateful to the entire Music Department, whose hard work, passion and dedication behind the scenes made the concert possible.
