Basketball Team Concludes Successful Season with Thrilling Final Match

The school’s basketball team has brought their season to a proud and exciting close following months of hard work, development and strong competitive performances in the Southwest Basketball League, involving seven other local schools and colleges.

Throughout the season, the squad demonstrated impressive growth, showing commitment in training as they worked to refine individual skills and build a strong team dynamic. Their efforts were reflected on court, where they consistently displayed teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship against challenging opposition.

The team’s final game, held last week at Wellington School, proved to be one of the highlights of the season. In a closely contested match against King’s College, the players delivered a thrilling performance that went down to the wire. Their relentless defensive pressure forced several turnovers, creating valuable scoring opportunities and showcasing the intensity and determination that have defined their season.

As the team reflects on the campaign, there is pride in the performances and progress made. The Year 13 players, who have played a significant role within the squad, will be greatly missed as they move on. At the same time, younger players are looking ahead with enthusiasm as preparations begin for friendly fixtures in the new year and for next season’s competitive schedule.
