Boarders Enjoy Skill-Building Morning at West Country Golf Academy

On a glorious sunny morning, a group of boarders visited the West Country Golf Academy for an engaging and enjoyable session on the driving range. The outing offered an excellent opportunity for students of all abilities to develop their skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The group included several experienced golfers, who made the most of the session by refining their driving and chipping techniques. Alongside them were many beginners, who benefitted from expert coaching to improve their stance, grip and swing. Remarkably, some students progressed from never having struck a golf ball before to hitting iron shots of over 120 yards by the end of the session, a testament to both their enthusiasm and the quality of instruction they received.

To round off the morning, students took part in a friendly putting competition. Congratulations go to Elsa, who emerged as the winner after a closely contested finish.

The outing proved to be a highly successful and enjoyable experience for all involved, offering both development and fun in the sunshine.
