Drama Trip To London

53 students have returned from an epic weekend on our annual residential theatre trip to London. This year we had an all-star line-up, from The Hunger Games to Hercules then into Pineapple studio to learn choreography with the cast from The Devil Wears Prada before heading to the Dominion Theatre to see the show itself.

For many of our Sixth Formers it was their fifth year on the trip, meaning a mammoth fifteen different shows over time, each one teaching them something slightly different. This time round, The Hunger Games featured design like nothing we have ever seen and when the sound failed in The Devil Wears Prada, it was a powerful realisation that even in professional theatre things can (and do) go wrong.
