Lower Sixth Act Today To Gain Finance Skills

During the Lower Sixth's Future Steps session this week, we were delighted to welcome Paul Cooke from Chewton Wealth Management, who delivered an engaging finance workshop to our Lower Sixth students as part of the Life Skills section of the programme.

Paul provided a valuable introduction to key financial topics that young people will soon encounter, including borrowing responsibly, understanding mortgages, managing savings, and navigating student finance. The session offered students practical insight into real-world financial decision-making, helping them to develop the confidence and knowledge needed as they prepare for university, apprenticeships, and independent living.

We are extremely grateful to Paul for sharing his expertise and helping our students build essential financial awareness - an important step in preparing them for life beyond Wellington School.
