Our Football Team Makes Historic Progress in Somerset County Cup

Our 1st Football Team delivered an exceptional performance in a challenging away cup fixture against a strong Frome College side, securing their place in the quarter-finals of the U19 Somerset County Cup for the first time in the school's history. 

The team began with an impressive first half of flowing, confident football, demonstrating excellent technical ability and teamwork. In the second half, their determination, work rate and support for one another shone through as they maintained their composure under pressure to ensure their progression in the competition.

Throughout the match, the squad displayed outstanding togetherness, spirit and character, representing the school with professionalism on and off the pitch.

The school extends its warm congratulations to the team on this historic achievement. They have done the Wellington community proud.
