Wellington is proud to offer a vast array of co-curricular opportunities including Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
This week, two groups of Year 10 pupils canoed 80km over three days to successfully complete their Silver DofE expedition.
They showed outstanding teamwork, campcraft, resilience and canoe skills. It is always more challenging to use a newer skill, the 11 pupils stepped up to the challenge and battled through the inevitable tiredness with good humour.
They have achieved something incredible and should be really proud of themselves.
Members of the public praised our students for how well they worked together and their positive energy.
Thank you to Huw, Ja and Bex for helping on the trip, it was one of the best yet.
