Wellington Highly Commended at Debating League

Four Wellington students participated in the second leg of a fabulous debating league organised jointly between Blundell's, Wellington and Uffculme schools.

Wellington participated in two debates - the first on the potentially harmful impact of social media on young people, and the second on whether or not cancel culture is a bigger threat to democracy than misinformation.

Huge congratulations to Abi and Freya who were highly commended for their efforts at the end of the evening. All who participated performed superbly, and a big thank you to Uffculme for hosting the event.
