Sister Act Production Nominated for Five National Theatre Awards

Wellington School is delighted to announce that its recent production of Sister Act has received national recognition, earning an impressive five nominations at this year’s national school theatre awards.

The production has been shortlisted in the following categories: Best Solo (two nominations), Best Actor, Best Ensemble and Best Musical, a remarkable achievement that reflects the exceptional talent, commitment and teamwork shown throughout the entire cast and creative team.

Sister Act was a standout production for the school, praised for its infectious energy, confident performances and joyful storytelling. The nominations recognise not only individual excellence but also the strength of the ensemble and the high quality of the production as a whole.

Staff and students are now eagerly looking ahead to the awards ceremony later this academic year.
