Activities To Celebrate And Inspire Reading
Today we celebrated World Book Day with a series of events for pupils across the Senior School.
Throughout the day, all pupils in Year 7 and 8 enjoyed a Drop Everything And Read day. Every lesson throughout the day began with 10 minutes of quiet reading, where many chose to read Chris Bradford's books after being inspired by his exciting visit yesterday
At breaktime the library was packed full with pupils keen to collect their £1 book token and their free book as a gift from the school.
After school the tension was high as pupils participated in the annual House Book Quiz. Will Hardwick hold on to their crown? The results will be announced soon...
