Year 1 had a wonderful trip to The Museum of Somerset in Taunton’s historic Castle. Children enjoyed lots of interactive activities, exploring 400 million years of history and learning all sorts about castles.
Being able to stand inside a real castle, rather than simply reading about one, helped bring their learning to life and sparked plenty of questions back in the classroom.
The dressing up was also taken extremely seriously…
