Year 7 Historians Bring Learning to Life at Chepstow Castle

Our Year 7 historians enjoyed an inspiring visit to Chepstow Castle this week, bringing their classroom learning to life in one of Britain’s most remarkable historic sites.

By exploring the castle’s rich history, we embraced their curiosity, asked thoughtful questions, and developed a deeper understanding of the past.

Experiences like these help spark connections between learning and the wider world, building confidence, character, and a lifelong love of discovery in a hands on practical way.

We were thrilled to have a guided tour from and medieval weapons demonstration from Neil Eddiford and the Bowlore reenactment group who brought the entire experience to life for us.
