Holiday Clubs

We are fully aware of the importance of being able to help our families juggle busy lives and we offer between six and twelve weeks of holiday clubs each year (depending on children’s ages).  

We aim to provide a service that is high quality, meets families’ needs and is cost effective.  

The key features of these are:

• The clubs run from 8.15am to 5.30pm each day;
• Childcare vouchers are accepted;
• The clubs are run by the School so children are with friendly and familiar faces, as well as quality being assured;
• The clubs offer all sorts of fun and enjoyable age-related activities using the School’s facilities.

We run two Welly Camps.  One for children in Years 1 to 4, and one for children in Years 5 to 8.  Running two clubs means that we can provide far more age-related activities.

Welly Boot Club for Children in Nursery and Reception

Our youngest children can attend Welly Boot Club, which is based in our Nursery School.  This club runs for the first week of the October half term, the Spring half term and the summer half term.  It also runs for three full weeks after the end of the summer term.

Childcare vouchers are accepted but Early Years funding can only be used in Wellington School term times.

Welly Camps for Children in Years 1 to 8

Our older children (those aged 5 and over on 1 September each academic year) can attend one of our Welly Camps.  These are based in the Princess Royal Sports Complex where the children have access to our excellent sport and leisure facilities.
