Wellington Prep School will be at full strength for the final week of term after welcoming back into School Years 2, 3,4 and 5 alongside Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6, who have been with us for several weeks now. We have introduced some new ways of schooling to ensure everybody's safety. We have a number of measures in place including special 'Kiss and Fly' drop off points, separate entrances for different year groups, contactless handsanitizers all around the School and children have their own individual desks.
Our remote learning programme proved hugely successful in keeping our pupils on track with their academic work and the Prep School is extremely grateful to our families who supported their children at home.
All families were provided with a remote learning guide which you can see on this page, to guide them through the summer term.
During this period of remote learning the School launched the Great Welly Project, which has provided our pupils with an opportunity to develop their independent learning and to emerge with an assessed outcome at the end of the term. Further information on the Great Welly Project is available via the link on this page.
We have received some outstanding feedback on our remote learning and our communication with families during this difficult period and we are proud of the outstanding relationships we have with our families and the support they have shown us.
I think considering the challenge, the school has done a very good job. Well done.
The admissions procedure was incredibly smooth.
I wouldn’t change anything.
Outstanding communication and rapid response to current situation. Thank you.
We were made to feel as though we were being welcomed into a family.
Happy, confident children in the corridors.
We think you have set up a fantastic learning system in such a short time and in such difficult circumstances . It reminds us why Wellington School is so fantastic and supportive.
We knew we had found the right place within minutes of walking through the door.
We could not be happier with the school and Mr Gibson.
