A Wellington Prep School education is about lighting fires not filling bottles. It is unlimited and unbounded, as we encourage our children to be curious, to be creative and to be compassionate. At WPS learning is not a spectator sport.

We have HIGH EXPECTATIONS for each child and we understand the importance of MAKING MISTAKES.
We NURTURE our children while encouraging them to take RISKS.
We develop children’s LEADERSHIP skills through valuing SERVICE to others.

Everything we do is centred on each child’s development - in the classroom, on the stage, on the playing field, as a leader and as an individual.
The School Chaplain plays an active role in our school life, leading weekly
assemblies in the Prep School as well as our termly chapel services.
We are “Learning for Life”.
