Communication with Parents

We care passionately about being the best school for you as parents, as well as for your children.
This is as much your school as it is your children’s. There are formal moments to engage with us but we encourage parents to get in touch about anything outside of these times. The relations and ethos of teamwork between school and home greatly matters to us.
At the beginning of each Academic Year parents are invited to a meeting on Induction Day, the day before term starts. Here families can meet the teacher, get a copy of the timetable, confirm their club selection and receive details of what uniform to wear on each day.
A couple of weeks into every term parents are invited to our 'Open classrooms', here they can see the displays and look at how tidy their child's desk drawer is!
There are Parents' Evenings in the Autumn and Spring Terms in addition to various events held during the year which provide parents with the opportunity to see the workings and achievements of the School.
Parents are encouraged to communicate with the class teacher through a Home/School diary and class teachers are always available to meet parents on a more formal basis. Email addresses for all staff are included in the termly Diary.
