School Council

School Council

Our School runs for our children, therefore it is important to ensure our children’s views are heard.  Our School Council helps children to learn about taking responsibility for themselves, for others, for our School and its environment.

Each class has two representatives, and the Council meets in three Sections, Reception with Years 1 and 2, Years 3 and 4 and Years 5 and 6, with the meetings chaired by a Teaching Assistant. Minutes are taken, collated and then feedback is given to all children. These minutes and resulting feedback are displayed on the Pupil Voice Noticeboard and shared with Governors.
