Drama

At Wellington we run a 3-18 Drama Department with curriculum drama taught throughout the whole school.

Each year we work towards productions, within the Early Years the Nativity is our focus, in year 3&4 students work together towards their own musical and in Year 6, there is an end of year production which is a highlight for many. This is performed within our Senior School theatre space and supports students’ transition into Year 7 and beyond. On top of curriculum drama, we offer LAMDA tuition and have a history of outstanding results, after school drama clubs are popular throughout the year groups and on a Saturday morning our Stage School is thriving, with over 60 students in attendance every week. We also offer ballet and modern dance tuition which takes place during clubs and into the evening as students move up through the grades.
