Foundation
The Wellington School Foundation was established in 2005 with the aim of financially supporting pupils who would not otherwise be able to take advantage of the excellent educational opportunities provided by Wellington School. Wellington has a unique history of providing access to a high-quality, life-changing education via the direct grant system, assisted places, or latterly the Foundation. We are keen that Wellington remains accessible to a diverse range of children, both by keeping fees as low as possible, but also by providing financial support where it is needed.
“The faith placed in me by Wellington School has been a defining feature of my life. Wellington has allowed me to fulfil my academic potential through study at university as well as teaching me invaluable life skills. I am increasingly grateful for the support given to me throughout my time at the School, as I continue to reap the rewards of Wellington and look forward to doing so long into the future.”
Bradley Horne (Oak ’14), School Captain and recipient of the Evans Lombe Bursary.
