University Destinations
The number of Wellington students who secure places at top universities is always impressive.
In 2024 83% of students, who applied to university gained direct entry to their first choice offer. One pupil went to Oxford while one student gained entry to Medical School and one pupil to went to study veterinary science. In addition, after leaving Wellington some of our pupils continue their studies at prestigious Art Schools and Music Conservatoires.
Students took up places on a wide range of competitive courses at leading universities. Destinations and courses include Economics and Management at Oxford, Physics and Chemistry at Imperial, Medicine at Bristol and Cardiff, Law and Economics at Warwick, American Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College, Modern European Languages and History at Durham and Robotics, Mechatronics and Control Engineering at Loughborough.
Each year some of our pupils will take a gap year. Some will take on paid employment and apprenticeships or join the Armed Forces.
