Health Centre

Health Centre

The School Health Centre is situated in the centre of the School, close enough for easy access and sufficiently private for pupils to attend discreetly.

We provide a high standard of care for both day pupils and boarders. We have an open door policy throughout the school day for all pupils, whilst during evenings and weekends a seamless on-call service operates for the boarding community.

The Health Centre is staffed by registered nurses and managed by Senior Nurse, Vicky Garrett, and is closely affiliated with Luson Surgery.  Dr Rachel Yates and Dr Adedayo Awodiji hold a twice weekly surgery for boarders so that boarders may choose a male or female doctor to meet their needs.

We care for all aspects of the health and wellbeing of our pupils, including accidents, sporting injuries and concussion, short term illness, chronic disease management as well as mental and emotional health. The building has two consulting rooms and rooms for boarding students to be nursed overnight, if required.

All medical information is regarded as confidential to the individual, unless a safeguarding need arises, when confidentiality may be forfeited in order to protect him or her.
