Co-curricular Activities

In Year 7 and 8, there is an extensive range of lunchtime and after school activities to choose from. In additional to a huge array of sporting and music opportunities, there are such diverse options as swimming, Warhammer, computer science, robotics, touch typing, caving, climbing, performance art, textiles, chess and even biological drawing!

Friday night is film night, complete with onesies, popcorn and beanbags!

There are many homework clubs and quiet library time, so pupils who wish to do their prep can focus on that within a structured environment.

There is a vibrant Music Department, with a huge range of bands, orchestras, choirs and ensembles, including the superb Chapel Choir, offering many opportunities to perform and develop.

A pioneering Sports Performance and Wellbeing Department delivers a whole new approach to fitness and sport. In addition to sport coaching for all pupils, a new wellbeing element educates our young people on important lifestyle features such as diet, fitness and body image. Our Talented Athlete Pathway focuses on our performance athletes and delivers a tailored fitness and skills training package for each individual.
