The Extended School Day (8am - 7.30pm)

Our 'Extended Day' option allows your child to stay after school and complete a club or activity, before joining the boarding community to enjoy a nutritious evening meal and receive valuable homework support.

Students will be registered at their club, move to the library (which is staffed) before being collected by the Boarding Team for their evening meal and homework session. Homework support (prep) with staff supervision will happen in Dukes Study Centre and students can sign out (Year 10 and older) or be collected in person (Year 7,8 and 9) from there until 19:30. If, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, you are late to collect your child from the Extended Day provision, they will be supervised in either Overside (boys) or Beech House (girls) until you arrive and collect in person from the relevant boarding house. The cost for the Extended Day service is £5 per day per child, added to your school bill. To secure the Extended Day service, simply book with 24 hours’ notice by using this online form.
